Voodoo Rays is a pizza slice shop and bar in Dalston East London, designed by Gundry & Ducker, architects in London. Its colorful space references both New York and London graphics of the fifties as well as of the eighties.
Its neon signage and bright tiled interior is designed to be part of the night time street scene to sit within, and celebrate its location on Kingsland High Street.
A long Pizza counter runs through the shopfront connecting the street with the interior. The interior characterization is given by a sequence of walls in 15 cm square ceramic tiles, reducing in scale and density to reveal the original building interior as you move towards the back of the shop.
